OBSERVATIONS |
To develop the silhouette and shape of the piece, I directly reference aprons and their way of tying. I'm interested in making the top reversible, so on one side, I create a pattern resembling tablecloths, and on the other, I take photos of different tomato stains. I use the sublimation technique to print the tablecloth pattern on one side and the various stains on the other. On the side with the stains, I add a layer of transparent plastic to reinforce the idea that being stained is not accidental but a choice.
